Import WooCommerce customers into Bit CRM without duplicates

We have several years of WooCommerce customers and want to bring them into Bit CRM. Email should be the unique identifier, and repeat customers should update the existing record rather than create another contact. What import path is safest?

I would test this in two passes. First verify the source event and raw payload, then add the condition or mapping. Keep the first run small and inspect the result at each step; that usually shows whether the issue is in WordPress or the remote service.

Thanks. I tested that direction on this staging community. The main thing I want to confirm now is whether the interface makes the state obvious without needing to inspect logs or hidden settings.

That makes sense. I would also test the same flow once as a normal member and once as an administrator or moderator, because permission differences can make a working feature look inconsistent.
